Details
The Nino Franco Spumanti winery is a historic winery with 100 years of life lived 1919-2019 and with a high level of attention and continuous search for quality.
The company is located in Valdobbiadene, a small town north of Venice, where Glera, the grape used to produce Prosecco, has always been grown. It is a family-run business and as they call themselves they are a family of "craftsmen" of Prosecco.
The hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene were recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2019.
The wines of the winery have won countless prestigious international awards and are regularly cited by authoritative sources in the sector:
The vinification technique of Nino Franco Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Dry Primo Franco takes place with an initial pressing and destemming followed by cooling of the must and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel.
Second fermentation in autoclave and after bottling the stay in the cellar must be at least 1 month. The Charmat method is applied.
