Details

Since 1850 the Lequio family has settled on the top of the Serragrilli hill, in Neive, between the Langhe and the Monferrato, where they produce fine wines such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera d'Alba, Roero del Gavi, Dolcetto d ' Alba and obviously the Langhe and Nebbiolo.

One of the characteristics of this winery that produces high quality Piedmontese wines is the uncontested presence of women entrepreneurs.

In the TRE DONNE company the work is carried out strictly with the deepest respect for nature, therefore without the use of chemical substances that damage the quality of the grapes and therefore of the wine that is produced.

Thanks to their passion for the world of wine, TRE DONNE have won numerous international awards in the wine sector.

To name a few: Mundus (Germany), Basel Weinmesse (Switzerland), International Wine Challenge (Ukraine), American Wine Society (USA).

The vinification of Barbera D'Alba DOC Donna Rossa takes place with a first fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks for about 10 days, when the malolactic fermentation is completed, 20% of the wine passes into 20 hl Slavonian oak barrels where it will remain to mature for about a year, the rest in steel.

It is aged in the cellar for at least 6 months in the bottle.

The harvest period is generally at the beginning of October
