Details

The Cantina Rotaliana at the foot of the marvelous Dolomites is located in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, near the city of Trento and the renowned Lake Garda. It was founded in 1931 and offers a fine selection of white and red wines from the Trentino region.

The vineyards on which this Spumante Metodo Classico R Riserva Brut Trento DOC comes to life are guyot and simple pergola, in valleys and fresh hills with a high wine-growing vocation in medium-dry, basically clayey or calcareous-chalk soils.

The harvest takes place strictly with manual harvesting between the third and fourth week of August while its vinification and maturation takes place in white with soft pressing of the grapes and fermentation of musts both in steel and small wood. In spring, slow fermentation and subsequent stay on the lees for at least 80 months.

Follow remuage and disgorgement with the addition of the liqueur d’expédition.

The refinement in bottles is 3 months after disgorgement.

Organoleptic characteristics

Colour Straw yellow with golden reflections.
Nose Fragrant, with light toasting and notes of dried and tropical fruit.
Taste Fresh, soft and almond.
Food pairing Appetizers and cold cuts of good fatness, shellfish and aged cheeses. Excellent for the whole meal.
