The name Nero Assoluto (originally) comes from the fact that the wine is a very deep and intense black, today the name has changed to Nero Assolutamente.


It is an excellent Merlot with a very intense taste, ethereal with notes of red fruit in alcohol, leather and cocoa, with a full, velvety and harmonious taste, to be uncorked at least 2 hours before serving at 18°-19° degrees.


It is not a common Merlot is much more, certainly one of the wines most loved by SellWine and that we recommend everyone to try it.


In the six-pack you will receive the wine in its original wooden box, much appreciated by all, connoisseurs and enthusiasts.

The Merlot grapes for the “Nero Assolutamente” are absolutely selected every year, so they can change the vineyards destined for this production. In fact, for withering they only serve perfectly healthy grapes.

The grape harvested in crates, is made to wither for 3-5 weeks, depends on maturation, climatic conditions and health. After drying the grapes are pressed and fermented directly in the tonneau for 4 weeks. Then the wine is filtered and cleaned from all impurities to refine in tonneau for at least another 24 months.

After this period it is held in steel and then bottled where it must stay at least for 6 months before the marketing.

Organoleptic characteristics

Colour Deep ruby red.
Nose Intense, ethereal, with scents of red fruits in spirit, leather and chocolate,
Taste Rich, velvety and harmonical. Open 2 hours in advance.
Food pairing Recommended with game, grilled beef and aged cheese.
