The CAGI Cantina Giubiasco is a company that was founded in 1929 and that vinifies the grapes of more than 350 winemakers in Ticino.

In recent years the winery has significantly improved the quality of its wines by enhancing old hillside vineyards in the Bellinzona area and its surroundings.

The Merlot is certainly the vine symbol of the cellar with which it creates unique and appreciated wines.


The grapes of the Spumante Malizia Extra Brut IGT Svizzera Italiana are harvested by hand and the wine is obtained from the soft pressing of white grapes, interspecific vines produced in Ticino.

To protect the varietal aromas, the alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperature and in steel tanks.

The fine and persistent perlage is brought by the subsequent froth in the bottle.

Then, to ensure breadth and structure, the wine is aged for 12 months on selected yeasts.
