The Monte Carasso Merlot Ticino DOC Barricato of the Cantina Giubiasco it is a high quality wine with indication of the municipality of origin.

It is the most prized wine of Cantina Giubiasco and is produced in limited quantities and only in certain years.

Its aroma is very intense, with hints of ripe black cherries and spices, the color is deep garnet red. It is of great structure and elegance, important but extremely fine tannins, a wine that can be left in the cellar for several years while keeping its qualities intact.

Excellent with red meats, game and hard mature cheeses.
