Cantina Rotaliana Clesurae Teroldego Rotaliano DOC 2011

The Cantina Rotaliana is a winery at the foot of the marvelous Dolomites is located in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, near the city of Trento and the renowned Lake Garda. It was founded in 1931 and offers a fine selection of white and red wines from the Trentino region.

The Clesurae Teroldego Rotaliano DOC born in double pergola vineyards, in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, with an average age of 50 years. 

The yield of about 80q.li/ettaro allows to obtain very high quality grapes. The soil where it grows is always well drained soil, supported by a rich pebbly-gravely and multi-layered sand skeleton.

The harvest takes place through a strictly manual harvest, between the third week of September and the beginning of October, to achieve the perfect phenolic maturity. For its vinification and maturation we can say that the fermentation takes place in vats in tall French oak and maturation in new barriques for at least 24 months and then the aging in bottle for not less than 24 months:

For its consumption perspective it should be emphasized that it maintains its qualitative characteristics over time. It is a ready wine, even if in the following years it will reserve great surprises. It can in fact be forgotten in the cellar for more than 10 years.

Important award for our Clesuræ 2011 After obtaining the 5 Grappoli, maximum recognition of the Bibenda guide, Clesuræ won the First Prize at the 1st Enotecnico Vini Winning Competition held by the prestigious Edmund Mach Foundation of San Michele all'Adige.

This is the confirmation of the enological excellence of this wine, of great identity and the result of important efforts in the vineyard and in the cellar.
