Details
The Cantina Rotaliana is a winery at the foot of the marvelous Dolomites is located in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, near the city of Trento and the renowned Lake Garda. It was founded in 1931 and offers a fine selection of white and red wines from the Trentino region.
The Gewürztraminer of the Cantina Rotaliana is a Trentino DOC and is the aromatic wine par excellence.
Vineyards cultivated with guyot, in the hilly areas of the municipality of San Michele all'Adige and the lower Valle di Non.
The soil is characterized by a dry soil of medium texture, tendentially clayey with the presence of small skeleton.
Harvesting, strictly by hand, takes place in mid-September.
Vinification and maturation follow a short cold maceration of the must with the skins before fermentation, then the new wine is left on its fine yeasts for at least 5 months.
