TICINOWINE has promoted once again this year an important event for the promotion of Ticino wine Open Cellars


Open cellars and all to discover

This year the event celebrates its 21st edition and introduces an important novelty.

In fact, it has decided to propose the event on two separate weekends to give everyone the opportunity to meet the largest number of producers and to learn about the various wines they offer.

 For the SOTTOCENERI the dates are: Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May 2019

For the SOPRACENERI the scheduled dates are: Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June 2019

Azienda Agricola Bianchi

The family run Azienda Agricola Bianchi was founded in 1998 by Marcy and Alberto Bianchi in Arogno.

Their two sons Martino (qualified winemaker) and Gabriele (winemaking engineer) also actively collaborate in the company.

All their grapes are grown and vinified 100% by themselves, in the most respectful way possible, following the organic principle. All their products are certified BIO SUISSE.

Gabriele Bianchi and the whole family are waiting for you with great enthusiasm that is the peculiarity of the company.

Tenuta Castello di Morcote

Tenuta Castello di Morcote is a symbol for the Canton, always very innovative and dynamic. It produces high quality wines and is the first winery in Ticino to have obtained federal BIO certification for its 7-hectare vineyard at Castello di Morcote.

Gaby Gianini, the manager and owner of the estate, will welcome you into her world and delight you with her inimitable wines.

CAGI Cantina Giubiasco

The CAGI Cantina Giubiasco is a company that was founded in 1929 and that vinifies the grapes of more than 450 winemakers in Ticino.

In recent years the winery has significantly improved the quality of its wines by enhancing old hillside vineyards in the Bellinzona area and its surroundings.

The Merlot is definitely the symbolic grape cell cellar with which creates unique wines and appreciated.

Sergio Scalmanini and all the employees of the winery are waiting for you to celebrate with them the 90th anniversary of the winery.
